Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains how Money Map Makers uses cookies and similar browser storage technologies. Effective date: September 1, 2026.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website can ask your browser to store. Browsers also support related storage technologies, such as local storage, that work similarly for the purposes described here.
How we use browser storage
The trip budget calculator uses your browser's local storage — not a traditional cookie — to save your inputs when you choose to click "Save." This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. We do not use cookies to run core site functionality such as navigation or reading guides.
Analytics and measurement
We may use privacy-conscious analytics tools to understand overall traffic patterns, such as which guides are most read, so we can prioritize updates. Where such tools use cookies, they are used in aggregate and are not used to build individually identifiable advertising profiles by us.
Your choices
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies and clear local storage through their settings. Blocking storage will not prevent you from reading our guides, but it will prevent the calculator's "Save" and automatic "Restore" features from working, since those rely on local storage by design.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our tools change, and will update the effective date above when we do.
